Easy Way To Go

What's great about it: Logical order/sequence of filing process
What's not so great: occaissional slightly annoying stoppage to re-connect
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It would have been nice if a foreign tax calculator was included while adding foreign taxes.

easy to use

turbo tax is much better than using hr block tax software. the step by step questions are much more concise and understandable. had no difficulty with doing taxes this year.
What's great about it: following step by step guide makes it easy
What's not so great: asked questions about florida tax return when we don't have any
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy Turbotax

I have used Turbotax with zero problems for as long as I can remember. Sure beats using an accountant or the old fashioned paper process. I'm retired now so my return is much less complicated than when I was working and my wife had her own business. Having Turbotax walk me through the process is pain free and the compilation of all the "background data" for future use is very helpful.
What's great about it: Simple to follow instructions, ease of filing by email
What's not so great: I would like a better way to see the actual return while in the midst of filling it out

PROGRAM FAILS AFTER AUDIT DEFENSE INFORMATION SCREEN APPEARS. CLICKING CONTINUE DOES NTO WORK. TRIED GOING TO FINAL PAYMENT SCREEN WHERE AUDIT DEFENSE IS OFFERED AGAIN BUT SAME FAILURE OCCURS.

Another year of taxes completed. Another year of TurboTax working great. Thank you TurboTax!
I liked that TurboTax intuitively answered my questions as I was doing my taxes. For example: "Yes you have this form. No you do not need it here. But you will use it when you get to this (specific) part of your taxes. "
One (of two) confusing sentence: "Do you qualify as a retiree or surviving spouse who moved back to the U.S." This could be read as: Do you qualify as a retiree? Do you qualify as a surviving spouse who moved back to the U.S? But it was meant to read as: Do you qualify as a retiree who moved back to the U.S.? Do you qualify as a surviving spouse who moved back to the U.S.? Fortunately the next section explained it thoroughly.
Each year, TurboTax just gets better and better! Your employees should be so proud!
What's great about it: Easy to use, tax explanantions were excellent, makes taxes much less complicated
What's not so great: On (only) two occasions, sentence wording was confusing.

What Greatness!

I really don't know why everyone in America is not using this software. It is so easy to use, and even if you get hung-up, the Support is absolutely fantastic! I couldn't get through a very unusual property Loss situation, even after using the 'Community responses' or 'the 'On-Line' help, Turbo Tax provided a personal contact who guided me right through! I'm so thrilled that this was so easy, especially with the support provided "at no extra cost!"

What's great about it: So easy to use, even I can do it. If you make an obvious mistake, it usually catches it and questions you to review!
What's not so great: Got stuck on a very unusual situation and unable to resove...Through online & Direct contact number, it got corrected!

Great program and made doing something I hate at least easy.
