What's great about it: runs on a computer
What's not so great: $$$$$$$$$$$$ FEES FEES FEES...... GET OUT OF MY WALLET

better last few years

very difficult this year due to a new state combined with an active duty military member. required a significant amount of time to input and file when compared to previous years.
What's great about it: ease of filling, saves place
What's not so great: cannot easily file a complex return

Turbotax Isn't What it Used To Be

I have been using Turbotax since '95. In prior years it was flawless. Everything worked and filing was as quick and easy as an inherently non- quick and easy thing can be. For 2015, not so good. Updates didn't work and downloading the state didn't work. After much frustration and digging around the web, I was able to find work arounds.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step questions
What's not so great: I had an awful time with updates and downloading my state.

TurboTax Premier 2015

The Fed 1040 and Calif 540 went OK. However the Virginia VK-1 is a pain. The TT interview questions do not precisely match the items in the VK-1. My experiences trying to get the proper numbers was very trying last year, and no better this year.
What's great about it: Fed 1040 and Calif 540 are fine.
What's not so great: Virginia VK-1

Green Card Holder filing a return

I am a US Resident (Green Card Holder)
Because I have accounts outside of the US I was concerned that I would have to pay an expensive consultant to help me filing.
TurboTax works great and the help desk is fantastic.
I will continue to do my taxes with Turbo Tas for the years to come

This is a good product, but has some limitations. The forms printing is extensive and difficult to manage. The cost is questionable especially th e filing fees.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, Excellent coverage of topics & Issues
What's not so great: Cost - Security - Viruses

K-1's that have to be hand entered are a pain; get more interface with investment community.
