Easy Taxes

The Federal went smoothly but I had to look at forms and delete a couple. State Forms: I am retired military with some drill time. Drill time is deductible but not in Turbo tax. It is necessary to locate the form and manually calculate and enter the deduction. Everything else went great.
What's great about it: Fast
What's not so great: State reserve pay deduction not complete

Better Than Ever

Best version ever. I have been using Turbo Tax for years and I think this year's version was the best yet. I only have one problem, it keeps including a Form K-1, even though I have not had an entry for years. Wish I knew how to get rid of it.

Have used Quicken and Turbo Tax for at least 15 years with no problems.
What's great about it: easy, reliable
What's not so great: Needs to "remember" more to save having to re-typein next year

becoming more difficult

I have used TurboTax for years, and do my own filing. this year was the worse. the Health form, in particular was VERY confusing. I had to recheck quite a few times in order to get it right. I could write the instruction in PLAIN understandable english for you. I am an intelligent, educated female who knows what she is doing, and I could barley get thru the forms. what in the heck do others without much experience do? Heaven help our taxes...I cannot believe anyone is actually doing them correctly any longer. we do NEED simpler tax laws. good grief!

Long time using TurboTax

I have used TurboTax since 1993 without difficulties. User Friendly. The only drawback was when they decided to have more versions and I purchased the same version I had been using it did not have all the items I needed, so I had to go back and buy the next higher version at an additional cost.
What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate
What's not so great: Cost keeps going up for the version I use.

Why would anyone upgrade an entire OS in order to use a program that is only used 3 days a year? Guess I'll give my money to another company next year.

What's not so great: Glitchy will not support Windows XP
