14 year user - will use again for 2016

Have used TurboTax 14 out of 16 years. Tried other programs about 10 and 7 years ago. They were OK. I expect to use TurboTax for 2016.
What's great about it: Thorough
What's not so great: Too many individual screens; should combine related choices together

A taxing situation

Was a good program to follow. The "help" button almost always gives you the answer you're looking for, if needed.
What's great about it: Easy to use, thorough
What's not so great: Why if you're getting a state refund, do you still owe money?????

In general, Turbo Tax 2015 is excellent! But I think it should be more straightforward. Sometimes the user don't need too much details.
What's great about it: More information and details comparing with turbo tax 2014
What's not so great: When I mistakenly selected one item, I don't know how to quit it right away. I have to keep going til the end.

E-Filing Password Fiasco

Website wouldn't accept long-standing Intuit password, then required reset of PW but timed out prematurely before new password could be entered. Then had to reset PW again and again, and none were accepted by website - Pain in the butt! Finally gave up and entered credit card information without signing in to account.
Based on past purchases, I thought one state return was to be included with purchase of software, but apparently not - had to pay additional fee to e-file state return.
Occasional error messages would pop up with a blank to be filled in, but without clearly identifying which form, page, or value was supposed to be referenced.

What's great about it: Software very good.
What's not so great: Doesn't accept existing acct. password, times out trying to reset.

Difficulty getting questions answered

Although the system is very intuitive, there are times when it is difficult to get answers for which immediate answers are needed. Specifically, completing HSA 1099 I had questions, but it was hard to get answers. I had to look really hard on Google and the IRS website for answers. Also 5498 it was a bit hard to find answers on these forms. Other than that I have been happy with this program.
What's great about it: Very intuitive
What's not so great: Hard to get answers on some difficult issues at times
