I had to upgrade just to report just one small (amount) 1099. For years I was able to use the deluxe but last two years had to upgrade to the premier. Very poor deal for me but good deal for TurboTax. next year I will explore other options.

didn't receive a refund like I hoped

Still a big mess with Backdoor Roth(Considers both Non-deductible Traditional IRA contribution & Roth "Conversion" as regular contributions, resulting in double taxation/penalty etc. ). Married filing Combined Separate in Delaware was recommended by TT, but doesn't accurately split the income/tax/interest etc between the spouses..and doesn't seem to import the correct numbers from the Federal or previous year(2014). It was taking the IRA distribution for pension exclusion, although it was indicated, this was converted to Roth and early distributions are excluded from pension exclusion.
What's great about it: Walks through all scenarios step by step
What's not so great: Doesn't handle IRA, RSU, Delaware State correctly

long time ago i went to learn how to file taxes,i used diferent softwares but never was more easy than turbo.

2015 Turbo Tax Review on Customer Service

Spoke with Gregory in Customer Service a few days ago. I got stuck 1/2 way through doing my return. I had bought the wrong edition of Turbo Tax. Gregory downloaded the Premier for me and spend close to two hours helping me. He was so kind and patient and did not hang up until I knew exactly what I was doing. You have an excellent representative of your company and I was so blessed to get him to help me. I finished my taxes and I am efiling them today. Thank you Turbo Tax and Gregory. Donna Morse

idiot proof!!!

Being a Brit who has always had a payroll team to deal with taxes, the American tax system is on a par with nuclear science. Wouldn't have a clue where to start with taxes but this system really does take you through them step by step and makes it fairly simple.

I am disappointed the state return could not be filed because Turbo tax does not handled a deceased person. This is a common event in peoples lives - would like to see updates to the state return program.
