Easy to use

E-filing a wiz with Turbotax

I've used turbotax for my third year straight. The 2015 year brought additional issues for my taxes, but I was still able to handle them easily with the TurboTax premier program. The download version costs about $20 more, -- I know I'm old fashion, but still not comfortable with having information up on the internet, with the increasing number of hacks. So I guess the additional cost is worth some piece of mind. And the turbotax state makes the Ky forms so much easier to do as filing married on separate forms for the bigger tax advantage.
What's great about it: the software is easy to use and the help dialoges very informative and helpful.
What's not so great: download costs more than online

Allow us to go to the relevant screen when we want to change, say, one number.

There are many little items for rental property passive income and losses that are not covered, and you have to search for the proper place to enter expenses. Landlords need to use outside resources to learn all of the rules, but having the software to walk you through much of it helps!
What's great about it: Ability to import tax statements saves time and helps avoid errors
What's not so great: Not enough information for rental property owners

of Schedule E. Your program won't allow that. fix it!
What's great about it: Walks you thru the steps to do taxes
What's not so great: to rigid. won't let you enter easily enter dollar amounts were the payee says they go.

Turbo Tax makes it easy

It makes a hated job easy. I honestly hate tax season and I really hate paying someone else to do my taxes. I buy Turbo Tax and my entire family uses it. Got all of our taxes done in one day without the stress of trying to remember to bring everything with us if we were taking them to someone else. ty
What's great about it: Answers the questions I don't know enough to ask.

I've had too much illness this year to make and sell stuff--no good reason for a Sched.C this time, Hope there's a way to list this year's expenses next year if I can get some work done!!
What's great about it: Relatively easy, as usual . . .
What's not so great: I couldn't figure out how to delete last years Sched.C entries except one by on--damned inconvient!
