Always Reliable

I've been using TurboTax to file my taxes for 10 years. I even had a CPA and another popular software company double check them for a couple years. They couldn't find anything. My "con" of "not as up-to-date as could be" is related to our government (state in this case) making changes too quickly and without respect to time for compliance. Still this year, TurboTax was confusing when it came to MNs Non-Conformance issues. First time I've been confused with TurboTax doing my taxes. Last year, when there was a problem, they answered it and corrected it quickly and their integrity was proven. So, even though they weren't quite up-to-date with MN this year, I still give them 5 stars.
What's great about it: Easy, reliable, accurate
What's not so great: not as up-to-date as could be

Great Tax Program

I am very pleased with Turbo Tax. I have been using it since 1997. It is so easy to use, it walks you through each step by asking all the right questions. We started using the premier program when we got a rental property in another state. Turbo Tax makes everything easy. With the error checks and audit review it makes me confident that my tax return is perfect every year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, step by step instructions
What's not so great: Filing fee for state tax returns

What's great about it: So Easy. Great Value, Accuracy and very intuitive. Fantastic Live phone support when needed.

Great product - it makes doing your taxes an enjoyable challenge.
What's great about it: Love the questions and ability to go into an explanation with the click of a button
What's not so great: I had a hard time deleting Schedule C - but finally figured it out. would have liked to do it as I went instead of after

TurboTax is OK

Need to add a calculation worksheet for days worked vs foreign work for Foreign Tax Credit.
What's great about it: Most typical situations are handled easily.
What's not so great: Foreign Tax Credit assumes you know too much. Needs some calculation worksheet, like days travelled vs. days worked.
