Fed. improved, one suggestion on State

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. While the price has gone up, it is still cheaper than an accountant.
Entries are pretty easy--either electronically or manually.
My 1099 from broker has muni bond interest and "Bd. premium" both covered and non-covered. Not clear how to handle these.
On the PA return, ones recipients of 529 contributions is not retained in the software. I do a "see attached". If you can't carry it over, make a provision for this method of reporting.
BTW, my "kids" are all middle aged!
What's great about it: carry over from prior year, ease of entry and editing
What's not so great: confusion on what to put on tax exempt bonds, no carry over for PA entities receiving 529 contributions

Easy for Older Filers

As the years go buy, I have found I need Turbo Tax even more than I did years ago because everything seems more complicated. I appreciate the explanations which are easy to access right on the same page.
What's great about it: Simple questions with easy explanations if needed

Very efficient and the complete tool for personal filing. All questions answered and love the 'help' addition sending one straight to the relative section.
What's great about it: Very professional and gave one confidence that all bases were covered
What's not so great: Got to very end and only then did it state that there was further information required before filing.

Great Product

I have enjoyed using this product for several years.I have found it to be easy to use. I have on occasion found something that I did not understand but was able to get information that helped me to figure out what to do. I would recommend this product to anyone who would like to do their own taxes.
What's great about it: It will lead someone who has no tax experience through the process.
What's not so great: Found an area that was not as spe\cific as I wish it could be in regard to rented land.
