What's great about it: easy to either walk through step by step or enter just what you need.
What's not so great: E filing was a bit confusing

this year i noticed it would some times forget previous entries, during filing it asked who the 1099 R was for, i returned to the income section and viewed entry, then returned to filing and it filed without asking who the entry was for.
What's great about it: Better Every Year

Why pay anyone to do your taxes?

This is a great product. Does exactly what it is supposed to do with simple clean navigation and good support. I continue to be baffled by people that pay others to do their taxes. With TurboTax the only hard part is gathering info, and this still has to be done if working with a tax preparer

I find some of the material is not always presented clearly and it takes several attempts to make sure the correct choices are made.
What's great about it: Able to work on my taxes at my own pace at a reasonable price
What's not so great: Process/questions not always easy to understand
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My taxes are pretty uncomplicated. I'm retired and have income from a pension, Social Security, and part-time work. TurboTax handled all of that with ease.
What's great about it: Easy to use for non-complicated returns
What's not so great: Tax laws are so complex it is difficult to find exactly what you want sometimes.

TurboTax continues its "dumbing down" of the product, not what an experienced preparer (I have been doing my own taxes for 50 years) really wants.
The most annoying thing I find is when using the "I'll Explore on my own" menu, when returning from working on a section, you go back to the top menu at the top, rather on the place where you were working last. It would be much more efficient if you returned to the place appropriate for the logical next thing you need to do.
What's great about it: Comprehensive forms
What's not so great: Annoying page navigation

Not Worth it

Electronic tax software is getting ridiculously expensive. Charge for extra states and state filing fees. I am going back to my paper filing.
What's great about it: Just type in numbers at the right location
What's not so great: Did not keep the choices selected. Not easy to navigate. Getting more expensive.

Been using Turbo Tax for many (15) years and some versions the process was difficult to follow. Many of most common entries were convoluted and difficult to find. BTW, reached a real person in a relatively prompt manner and tech support associate was excellent.
This 2015 version the GUI was well done, virtually flawless.
What's great about it: Precise and easy to follow
What's not so great: Cell number is only contact, DO NOT WANT MY PHONE # TO BE SOLD OR TELEMARKETED!
