Some Issues with Schedule E

When you have K1s that are passive it creates a rental field error.
What's great about it: Does a great job
What's not so great: Schedules are not always intuitive

The step-by-step procedure would be much less irritating if you didn't have to answer the same basic questions [e.g., "Do you have a foreign bank account?"]. Since the process of entering data is iterative ... another 1099Div arrives, and you go back to include it, etc. ... going through and answering all the questions again is unnecessary.
The calculation of Estimated Tax Payments is hidden and poor. You have to skip to the Tax Forms mode to figure out what's going on, then back to Step by Step, etc. The worksheet requires you to "game" it to get right result, if your income is expected to change.
However, TurboTax does a great job overall.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Step-by-step requires you to answer SAME questions every time; Est Tax calc is poor.

Follow the Directions-It Works

Easy to use. Follow the directions, fill in the blanks and you're done. Used it for years now with no issues.
What's great about it: If you pay attention and follow the directions, it's simple to fill in the blanks and be done with it. Used for years.
What's not so great: None.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been using this product for over 15 years and it has never disappointed me. It is very easy to use and easy to find answers to questions.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Wish program would give user option to go straight to print instead of preview

Very easy to file

Many people, including myself, dread doing their taxes due to the complicated and ever-changing tax laws. TurboTax made the filing process as simple and easy as could be. No need to pay a tax preparer when you have TurboTax.
