I had to file a amended return, the product walked me through the process without any issues!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Annoying in many ways

Using it is like going to a bad website. You have to get through pages of up selling and add ons to get stuff done. When you actually buy something it takes forever and the password requirements are so weird you have to reset every time because no one could remember those rules.
It does remember your previous returns and does the taxes well once you get through the advertisements.

What's not so great: Updates and trys to upsell you all the time.

Two Improvements Needed

there needs to be a simple summary of capital gains losses carried over from previous year. Seems to get dropped or lost.
What's great about it: Turbotax works great, gets most questions answered electronically.
What's not so great: State Returns should not have extra charge! And, carryover of capital gain losses from previous year seem to get droppe

TurboTax Helpful for Non Non Numbers Person

I used another nationally-recognized service a few years ago and I was so disappointed. They did nothing for me that TurboTax hasn't done to help me for many years now.

Makes even difficult returns easy

Makes the most complex returns manageable. Only issue I had was the list of items in charitable contributions to select from seemed to be missing some major common items and included a number of rather esoteric items I can't believe anyone would use. We moved and downsized and our list of contributions was quite long.
What's great about it: Holds your hand all the way thru
What's not so great: Charitable contributions part could be more user friendly
