Generally easy to use. Good explanations. Glad to see additional security measures.
In the income section, however, would like to see "normal" pension information kept separate from traditional IRA distributions. I prepare returns for elderly people who have pension income, and the additional questions regarding RMDs, for example, can be confusing.

A unpleasant task made more difficult

Federal Taxes were easy compared to NJ state taxes. NJ added several questions regarding pensions that had never been previously asked. Having State pensions and not having the information being requested was frustrating! It may have been a question of terminology but the state return was definitely a change from 2014.
What's great about it: Carry over from 2014 helpful
What's not so great: New questions were frustrating

After speaking with a tax professional who called us on behalf of turbotax we were able to update and file our return capturing all the needed information and forms. However, no where in the program does it tell you that after the fact i.e. in 2016 as you work on your 2015 form, you NEED to update your old 2014 form in order for all updated and required information to properly populate the new form. Additionally it was very difficult to get a call back from a professional when our first contact ended with the agent saying ti was closed in spite of telling us they would have a tax professional contact us.
What's great about it: the personalized help we got after contacting Turbotax
What's not so great: The program did not capture 2014 information and carry it over

Found deductions.

Easy because...last year's numbers are brought into current year taxes; helps to find new deductions, asks good questions to insure correct information, and does the math.
What's great about it: Eases pain of completing taxes correctly.
What's not so great: No problems.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The handling of Pensions was not very clear, because it referred to RMDs, yes or no. Also I could not figure how to get credit for paying car tax in CT.
What's great about it: Covered every issue
What's not so great: The Pension section not too clear

Please automatically list charitable contributions alphabetically. It will be so much easier to review and add charities each year without searching the list if it is long.
What's great about it: easier to use this year
What's not so great: In your refund options page you don't give the option to apply to 2016 taxes.
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I moved
