Great Experience!

I have tried other forms of tax preparation .I have waited in a waiting room to be next in line to be helped.
They use some third party software and they are very busy and try to do as many returns as they can in the time that they have. They generally do taxes part time and not all of the time.
I felt disconnected with what was going on and they could have made mistakes that I would not have caught .
So My wife and I kept going back to Turbo Tax over the years and we Have been using Turbo Tax for many years now. Turbo Tax makes us feel like we are the only ones in the room. We are getting one on one service.
Turbo Tax is thorough and well thought out . It leads us at our own pace through clear Tax questions and gives us tips along the way as how to answer the questions without any confusion.
The TurboTax process helped us to be involved and get the best return that we could get.
TurboTax is so... worth the investment!

A good, thorough step-by-step process. Did have to manually enter several 1099-DIV forms and a W-2 that were available electronically. Intuit TurboTax needs to expand its range of financial institutions qualified to electronically download 1099-DIV, 1099-INT and W-2 data from.
What's great about it: The step-by-step process seems to work very thoroughly.
What's not so great: I had to manually enter some W-2 and 1099-DIV data that was available electronically from sources.

Overall I am very satisfied with Turbo Tax. The only issue I had was with some of the deductions defaulting to me as opposed to giving me the option to select my spouse. I didn't notice this until after we had printed for our review and we had to go back and correct it in multiple places.
What's great about it: Easy to use, guided topics
What's not so great: Did not initially ask to assign gains to me or spouse
