Great Improvement over 2014 - Thanks

Improved over 2014 and all the forms were included. So did not lose me as customer.
Interface seems improved and more efficient. Seems to have been easier for new users in my family.
But manual entry of 1099-div for 2015 when data had been uploaded in 2014 required creating new entry - not so nice.
Flags are nice feature. Used it to flag where I was when stopped, so could return to that point. Needed because TT seemed to go to beginning. Also made it easier to skip over and return. Although created surprise that did not ask me to review flags when go to file. Should have that feature.
Had some late updates to fix problems (march 30?) which didn't get advantage of.

What's great about it: Elimininated difference of forms in versions. Flags are very nice feature. Walk through to enter seems more efficient.
What's not so great: Problem manual entry div after upload in 2014. No warning of flags when file.

Straight Forward and Accurate

Overall this software works well for our return; if we have a more complex return next year it will be interesting.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow
What's not so great: In order to get the forms I needed from prior years I had to upgrade to Premier from Deluxe
Pros: I bought or sold investments

2015 TurboTax Review

Overall, pretty good; however, uses a one size fits all approach. I would add sound (voice guidance) like in the older versions.
What's great about it: quick and easy
What's not so great: too stiff in structure, does not allow for deviations outside of standard questions. Not user friendly in queries.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Great program for the person wanting to do their own tax filing.
There is a need for a description of the technical limitations, for example, how many schedule E forms can be accessed within one 1040 file.
That would help those of us with rental properties.......

What's great about it: Great Program for the do it your-selfer. Easy to download and navigate.
What's not so great: There are limitations...........

I owed Fed taxes (direct ACH from my bank), but will receive a refund from state of PA. I tried to pay for the state to efile it, but you responded I couldn't because I can't deduct it from my fed taxes because I don't get a refund from the Feds. why Can't I deduct it from my state refund????????

overall it is easy to use and I have been using this a long time but it would be nice to have the opportunity to talk to a human when you get stuck and you can't find your answers.
What's great about it: the walk through step by step
What's not so great: not getting the opportunity to talk to a human when you want a specific question answered
