EASY COMPLETION AND FILING

The entire process -- from importing data from last year to entering retirement income, investments, social security as well as exemptions was very smooth an easily understood.
The only minor issue was verbiage that appeared when it came time for me to decide whether to pay for filing my state return or to have the cost deducted from my refund.
Specifically, the "deduct the e-filing cost from my refund" was wrongly worded ... the choice was "deduct the cost from my FEDERAL refund" or pay via credit card. In my case, I was due a refund from state but not from federal. So, I opted to pay via credit card ... which was easy and secure. However, TurboTax should fix this minor error to prevent an inadvertent mistake by users.
What's great about it: WALKED ME THROUGH EACH ISSUE WITH CLEAR CHOICES

Constantly receiving the little round circle, telling me it's searching for the information I want. Couldn't find State forms to review on my own. Couldn't print parts of my tax forms. All in all, not as good as last years forms.
What's great about it: covers everything
What's not so great: slow; hard to amend; wouldn't let me see some of the State forms I wanted to review, i.e. Tax Estimate for coming year;

didn't understand how to depreciate my rental property. Luckily my wife is smarter than me ;-)
What's great about it: I Saved over $300
What's not so great: some parts were a little confusing

I have used Turbo Tax for years and appreciate that they have become easier to use, especially being able to download financial information directly.
I hate having to pay extra to file my state taxes! I remember not having to do so and it was such a great feature.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years (Many) and find
it to be organized, easy to understand. The best is that
it asks questions of topics one may never think of while
preparing the tax return.
