Removed My Tax Headaches

Talk about a Tax Headache cure, TurboTax is it. It makes my life so easy, even with a detailed Schedule A, 401K info, etc. etc. Save yourself time, energy and lower your frustration level with this software!
What's great about it: Guides you through every step - Makes you consider other possibilities
What's not so great: getting past the decision "not to import" data as a group didn't work. Had to go through every radio button separately

Additional Details Wanted

Details of stocks transferred, including losses and gains are not detailed enough to see how some of the numbers were calculated. Going through a hundred pages to find where the numbers were put is agonizing and even then some numbers could not be easily figured out.
What's great about it: Easy with all the questions and step-by-step instructions.
What's not so great: Wondered where some of the numbers came from on the forms, calculations by software??

Great Product

I have used the product for a number of years, and am very happy with it. The time it takes for me to file my taxes is considerably reduced because of the support that Turbo Tax provides, like carrying information forward from previous returns, downloading tax forms from financial institutions, and guided process to collect income and expense data. The eFiling works great and makes things much easier, whether I have to pay additional tax or receive a refund.
What's great about it: Carries information from previous returns forward, downloads forms from financial institutions
What's not so great: none

Awesome Customer Service

Had difficulty in the beginning in that I usually do Turbo Tax online and this year I purchased the software. I also changed computers so was unable to download my previous return. The young lady helped me tremendously by walking me through the process of retrieving last years return so I could start this years return.

We have been using it for years. Still have to make a few decisions on your own with TurboTax prompting. Will use it again next year.
What's great about it: It doesn't seem to miss anything if you go through the whole interview process and let it download all your 1099's
What's not so great: Foreign Dividends remains confusing.

Sorry, Turbo Tax didn't Rock again this year

Well, I'm frustrated again this year's with your Turbo Tax software. Last year, I couldn't download my TD account, as a result, I had to enter all my transactions. And, now, this year the Turbo Tax software could not transmit, because I continued to get an error message, i.e. concerning my South Carolina Subsistence Allowance which I DO NOT qualify for this credit. The software would NOT let me enter ZERO and it continued to be an error. When I entered 1 day @$8.00 rate, it would calculate correctly. However, I continued to return to the SC return & revisit the area which automatically adjusted to Zero, however I could not submit my return due to the error message again. After two or more hours trying to get the software to accept ZERO, I could not. As a result, I changed the amount of days to (1), resulting in my SC Taxes to adjust my return by a credit of $1.xx. (i.e. from $xx0.00 to $xx1.00). And processed correctly. My Federal Taxes stayed the same amount.
What's great about it: Well, this year Turbo software could download my TD account.
What's not so great: Another Turbo Tax update Failure, with SC Subsistence Allowance
