Good overall but...

I've been using Turbotax for a long long time. Always been happy except this year there's a glitch - on Oregon Form 40-V, it says "the taxpayer's name is too long" - and there's no place to enter. It's preventing me from efiling and I don't even need this form!
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: bug in the Oregon return!!!

Wasted Years and $ without TurboTac

Quick, educational, easy.
What's great about it: Everything, ease of use and understandabiltiy
What's not so great: I wish I had tried this years ago..
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Time Saver and Life Saver

I found it very difficult to get back to a specific schedule or form without going back to the step by step format. It is easy to follow info from one form to another and double check with my records.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step and double check with my records.
What's not so great: Could never get my state to e-file.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

feel tht the difference between the basic filing and the next type are too far apart. I have alot of extra questions I dont need. therefore it costs alot more.
dont like having to pay for the extra filing fee after purchasing the turbo tax already. yes you do ask for it ont he return but if you dont have enough deduction it is just standard and not counted.

Many years TurboTax getting more difficult

TurboTax 2015

Improve the K-1 part. Every year I struggle with this because I have a complicated K-1 which requires multiple entries and TurboTax has glitches. For an example, this year it kept telling me that I had entered part 16 subsection D & F when I had not entered a part F. I was able to finally resolve this error by deleting a misc deduction.
What's great about it: Been using it for years
What's not so great: Schedule K-1 data entering needs to be simplified!
Pros: I bought or sold investments
