Rental Realestate Sale

This is honest: In entering data for the sale of my income SFR the questions lead me down untraceable paths for correction. I actually had to visit a tax consultant (who was very kind) to show me what was missing. With that information I was able to start another (my 3rd) filing for TY 2015 to force the program into the area I needed for correct information on form 4797, Part III, lines 20 & 21. This took me an additional 24 hours (straight), to trace and resolve. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!
What's great about it: Familiar with Turbo Tax as I have used it over the last decade.
What's not so great: Can freeze up if boxes are not filled correctly and leave one without resolve.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great Product and getting better every year.
What's not so great: For the novice, some explanations are not clear. More examples should be given.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

My Poor Investments

With today's technology, when Turbo Tax imports information from my investment accounts, it should know if there are foreign investments, foreign taxes, which states might have tax free dividends or interest etc. Turbo Tax asks questions that only a broker or tax professional "might" know how to answer, but not someone like myself.
What's great about it: Imports information from my investment firm
What's not so great: Asks a lot of questions that I have NO idea how to answer
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: Walked me through everything, as usual

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have probably used TurboTax for over 20 years and it continues to be a solid performer.

Why, when I go back to my business return, does it take out some of my answers to yes/no/none of above questions? This makes it hard to return to a specific place without having to read everything again.
What's great about it: Covers topics thoroughly
What's not so great: Hard to bounce around the input screens without going through multiple screens
