USING TURBOTAX

I found the program's asking for account numbers to be extremely important when adding information from several bank accounts. E-filing required a lot of time and special effort; however, once finished I felt like I was sure the tax return got where it was supposed to go.
What's great about it: It is well organized with plenty of "helps" along the way
What's not so great: If you make a file showing income it is almost impossible to delete it easily.

Have been using TT for years and plan to use it next year. Leads user through the process by asking questions. Calculates things like depreciation for you and determines if you would be better off itemizing or not. Great value.
What's great about it: Step-by-step instructions, asks u ? to make sure u fill out all necessary forms
What's not so great: sometimes difficult or tedious to correct an entry

Need better support for Limited Partnerships.

I've been using TurboTax for years. Support for investment gains and losses is pretty good. Have a little trouble when Limited Partnership sales require form 4797.
Everything else is easy to understand.
Will continue using TT Premier.

couldn't delete business expense scenarios w/o starting over from the very beginning.
What's great about it: don't have to learn every form

Things I'd like to see

I would really like to see the program reload to where I quit - in forms view?
I need Form 8949 but it won't get me there.
There were times when I spent many minutes inputting data and the program shut down without asking if I wanted to save - very frustrating to say the least.

What's great about it: Does a great job of transferring all the data
What's not so great: I like to work in forms view but the program won't reload to that default. No way to get to Form 8949.

What's great about it: The process gets all of the required information and handles it appropriately. The tax forms are correctly filled out.
What's not so great: It seemed very difficult to load and get started and it seems difficult to get back into the forms
