Focuses on data entry, not gathering documents

During the actual filing process, providing Driver License info and AGI info, there was no way to see that the link was secure. I expected to see a security indicator like https:// but the link was under application control and security was not displayed or mentioned.
The link to the irs website to obtain new pins did not work and returned a code of 111 two times.
I do have kids, but they are grown and do not live with me.
What's great about it: Makes a tedious job easier
What's not so great: Application does not show security

Great but please add future estimate capability

We use this every year and love it! But I struggle with estimating each December on what is best for end of year decisions. I use Turbo Tax but need to put in too much detailed data to get to an estimate of impacts for various options for end of year decisions. Should we pay real estate taxes on Dec 31 or Jan of following year for example. Take out IRA funds this year or next, etc. Being able to run various tax estimates using Turbo Tax would be very helpful.
What's great about it: Accurate and current tax tables. Ease of use year after year
What's not so great: Needs future estimating capability.

easy Taxes

The product is quick and easy if you have all your information together. However, if you find a spot you don't have the information---stop, save and come back. very simple and easy.
What's great about it: Can prepare taxes in your time frame-not all at once
What's not so great: need to have schedules prepared ahead.

Burden relief

I felt that the 2015 software was much easier than in prior years. It made me feel confident that I was doing all the right things. Turbo Tax allows me to file easily, and move on without worry.
What's great about it: I like that Turbo Tax keeps track of all my prior years' information.

Excellent digital tax preparation software

I have been using TurboTax for nearly 30 years, I believe since it started. Although the costs have significantly increased over time, so have the complexity of the tax code as well as my own circumstances. I find the system relatively easy to use, cost effective, accurate and thorough. I once planned to use a tax preparer but found that I needed to have everything organized for them that I did for TurboTax and at a very much higher cost.
What's great about it: Easy to follow interview approach to preparing taxes. Thorough, it covers most tax situations.
What's not so great: Some entries not intuitive. You have to trust the system to be doing it all correctly.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
