TurboTax 2015

As always, Turbo Tax is simple to use. I like that it keeps track of my refund as I go along and I appreciate the state tax return that is included. It completes the state tax return very quickly. I still don't understand some of the regulations for home office use deductions, very unclear.
What's great about it: easy to use, useful help boxes
What's not so great: still don't understand some of the rules for home office use and deductions

Nice Refund

With all my tax information at hand I was able to fill in all the
required information easily and quickly.
If I thought I had made a mistake, it was quite easy to go back and make any necessary correction.
I have used Turbo Tax since it was available and it seemed to
be even easier to use this year.
What's great about it: Ease of completing
What's not so great: Questions repeated

I HAD A BAD PROBLEM SENDING IN MY TAXES ELECTRONICALLY..
JESSICA AT YOUR HELP DESK STAYED WITH ME FOR A VERY LONG TIME TO TRY TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.
HER ATTITUDE AND KNOWLEDGE WAS EXCELLENT.
ALTHOUGH, WE WERE STILL UNABLE TO FILE ELECTRONICALLY, IT WAS COMFORTING TO KNOW THAT KNOWLEDGEABLE HELP WAS AVAILABLE./ FRED BLUM

Great Tax Software

I've been using TurboTax probably since it began being produced and the time and effort it has saved is not to be estimated. This year is the most software friendly version yet. The E-filing is wonderful.
If you want to save yourself hours of time and the overwhelming headache of filling out the brain numbing IRS forms you just have to buy TurboTax. I've been using it well over 10 years and boy do I appreciate it. Now Retired--Happy Dance
What's great about it: Easy to use!!!
What's not so great: None really
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax Review

If your external drive fails you are in trouble. Do not to attempt to load the new software because it will not work. The registry points to wherever the software was saved the previous year. Might as well buy another computer because you will not be able to load Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Very user friendly
What's not so great: Registry Issues
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Mostly pleased, but a suggestion too

I repeatedly (year after year - have been using Turbotax for decades!) am frustrated trying to understand whether or not Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) applies to my situation. The wording of the Easy-Step explanation of the AMT always makes it sound like the program has determined that I probably am not liable for this additional tax burden, but it is not certain, and I am left to figure it out on my own. It appears to offer to figure out what the amount of my increased tax liability WOULD be IF it applies to me, but never whether or not it actually DOES apply to me. If Turbotax does in fact definitively determine this, it seems to have kept this a secret from me. It feels like I have to gamble the decision whether or not to actually pay (or "SKIP") the AMT, the amount of which the program offers to figure out for me if I choose not to "skip" it, but not whether or not I really have to pay it.
What's great about it: getting better and easier to navigate every year
What's not so great: Frustrating trying to figure out if AMT applies to me
