Another Great Year

Overall I have used Turbo Tax for 11 years for myself and family members. It is consistent year over year and that makes it easy to transfer data and pick up where you left off. The great features are the ability to download W-2 and brokerage statements. Saves me a lot of time and potential errors typing.
What's great about it: The layout and process is exactly like last year, so no relearning
What's not so great: This is the 11th year in a row I have used Turbo Tax. So I must like everything.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

TurboTax is by far the quickest and easiest way to file your taxes I have ever encountered. They have almost automated the entire process.

Fast & Furious

Mass. State annuity code of "1" led to a characterization of regular/standard annuity as "early IRA withdrawal". None of the descriptions seem to fit the situation.
Completed this return for my 97 year old mom. Never thought/knew she took and early withdrawal
What's great about it: Generally intuitive; easy to work with
What's not so great: Retiree circumstances not always straigh forward

Premier - w rental properties & fed e-file

Best version of TTax I've ever worked with and I've been using TTax for 10 years or so. No errors, easy downloads, no painless loops, no calls to support. Really great experience (and really, I'm just an unbiased user, no TTax connections). Kudo's to the folks at Intuit for a job very well done. Thanks! : )

Totally impressed once again

I've used Turbo Tax for 10+ years and still actually look forward to filing taxes. With my spouse passing away this past tax year I was apprehensive about filing but found Turbo Tax to be very helpful and thorough and easily navigated. Took the sting out of doing taxes.
What's great about it: Easily navigated, thorough information gathering, don't need to be computer litterate
What's not so great: haven't found one yet after 10+ years of using turbo tax

Love This Program

I have used turbo tax for the last 10 years and each year it keeps on getting better. I have a rental property and 2 kids and Premier works perfectly. I have nothing but great feeling for this program and I would swear by it.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, allows for comparison to previous years, allow for no mistakes and is the best program on the market.
What's not so great: None.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
