Overall,TurboTax did what it was supposed to do but I got lost a few time especially when I wanted to check to see if specific entries were place on worksheets properly. It could be a little more user friendly.
What's great about it: Very thorough.
What's not so great: Had some difficulty finding where to put items in the interview.

The Premier is the one I personally use and it had everything I needed to file my taxes
What's great about it: Simple to use, helps with every deduction available
What's not so great: trying to figure out exactly which Turbo Tax is right for you? Basic, Deluxe, Premium, Home business
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've been using TurboTax to do my own taxes since I graduated from college (1998). The software is simple to use and intuitive for the step by step Q&A, guiding users thru the data entry. The form view is beneficial for those that want to see the details of how an "answer" adjusts the forms and worksdheet calculations.
What's great about it: Simple, both step by step process as well as form view is great!
What's not so great: none

Much Easier Than I Expected!

I saved about $225.00 vs. my normal tax prep company! If you have to assemble your information for a service to prepare your return, and you have a calculator, you can get rid of the costly middle man! Nice experience for a non-tech old guy...
What's great about it: Walks you through everything... Hard to make a mistake!
What's not so great: I may have missed the explanation on Capital Losses but I figured out what I'd done wrong before filing.

Turbo Tax Experience 2015
on February 10, 2016

I thought navigating back to previous areas of the interview when checking work, updating figures after initial draft was entirely too complicated. It kept me going to the top of the page and it seemed like it wanted me to start over each time.
Additionally, I wasn't sure if I navigated off the page whether or not original information was being entered.
I was not a fan of the way navigation was done to get around the interview.
What's great about it: Easy to follow information, automatic download from financial institutions was easy initially.
What's not so great: Difficult to get back to automatic downloads from financial institutions if you had to go back for wife
