I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have always been entirely satisfied with the product. Would not consider any other tax software.
I wonder if Turbo Tax has an on-line version that could handle 6000-8000 1099-B transactions?

Frustrations

Have used TT several years, and had the most problems this year. 1. 2014 taxes didn't want to transfer in; 2. The "calculating" loop caused me to force quit the program and then relaunch innumerable times; confusion with error message regarding foreign tax issue. I had already input info to use the tax credit, but in review I kept getting an error message to either go back or check the Schedule A box.
What's great about it: Easy plug in the answer format
What's not so great: Too many bugs this year.

keyed in problem & followed the save & restart answer & it worked!! Took a little searching to get back to previous location on forms,,Failed twice before going to end
What's great about it: straight forward
What's not so great: went into a calculating loop,twice at end of deductions on Fed

I entered data in " 2014 state estimated taxes paid in 2015" This was in error, and I tried to delete it. The program would not let me delete or set it to "0". The only way I could move on was to put "1" in each of the three states that I had entered. After calling customer support, they had me go to "forms" and delete the 1's there. This needs to be corrected.
Later , as I was finishing up, the program hung up in "calculating". Customer support showed me how to get out of this, but it happened again later.This also needs fixing.

The one thing I generally don't like about the product is that it should be answering the carryover questions more clearly based on the transferring of a prior year return. Most questions of this nature leave me questioning whether I am eligible, have a carry over or not, forcing me to check the prior year return or question whether I am getting full credit of these items. Second thing to remember, most users of this are not familar to the tax laws and there are a few questions where it comes off that user needs to know the laws in order to properly answer the question

Excellent Filing

Being using TurboTax for at least eight years and it only gets better every time, I would highly recommend this product to any of my friends and family
What's great about it: Excellent user friendly, very easy to file the return
What's not so great: Nothing negative from this user
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
