Without TurboTax, I'm Out of Here

I turned 80 years old during this tax session. When TurboTax stops developing the software for my taxes, I quit. It still seems strange that the IRS keeps changing the rules while we customers are doing our taxes. That means they are changing the rules while the game is in process. Analogy: It's like painting a moving train. Intuit is living proof that it can be done. Hang in there. Duke
What's great about it: With TurboTax, I don't have to deal with the IRS Tax Forms.
What's not so great: I had trouble getting rid of a Schedule K-1

What's not so great: State was very incomplete, stated i needed to decrease the amount of my MESP contribution when in effect it was more !

You need to add info about entering Oil Royalties. Even though it is on a 1099-Misc form it is not entered there. It is entered under the Royalties section.
What's great about it: overall easy to use
What's not so great: proble entering oil royalties

It was different this year....but OK

I love Turbo Tax. I recommend it to all my friends. It's easy to use. Step by step instructions are great.
But you changed the investment section this year. It took too much time to add every sale of an investment. I like the old spreadsheet format better.
What's great about it: Good step by step instructions
What's not so great: Sale of investment forms changed.....I like the old spreadsheet format better.
