Actually Worth It

As a 19 year old student filing for the first time, this was really a lifesaver. Everything is expedited and put into plain, easy to understand terminology. On top of that, the prompts are friendly and fun without coming off as condescending.
I will definitely be using this next year!

problems

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and loved the program.
But this year I had many problems. The program would freeze often and i would force quit it. I was not able to complete the foreign income and foreign tax forms using the program. I was not able to efile the return because of fraud, but the program was not helpful with this.
What's great about it: few

Excellent Job Again to the Team at Turbo Tax. You make filing taxes such a breeze!!
What's great about it: Precise and without problems in the printing stage.
What's not so great: Would like to get updates for the state forms sooner.

I have been using Turbo tax since the beginning and it has continued to improve its step by step easy instructions. I feel that I have received all the deductions that I am allowed and that my taxes are accurate. It is so much more comforting to know that this obligation is complete.
What's great about it: VERY EASY AND STRAIGHT FORWARD STEP BY STEP

I HAVE MANY INVESTMENTS THEREFORE I HAVE TO INDICATE IF THEY ARE AN OKLAHOMA BASED COMPANY
YOU NEED TO ADD AN OPTION TO MARK THEM ALL AT ONE TIME INSTEAD OF HAVING TO CHECK EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY.

What's not so great: SECTION ON INVESTMENTS HAVING TO LIST EACH STATE THE STOCK CAME FROM WAS A PAIN.

overall good, but problems

had problems with endless loop or whatever with calculations/sprinning wheel. Work around didn't really work, fix coming 3/23/16 but never saw it. Somehow made it work then fine, subsequent loops corrected by saving file, reboot computer (Apple i-Mac) then worked (this did not work earlier-????). I realize programmers earn their keep by improving the system, but if it"s not broke keep their cotton picking hands off. (told my boss at work once if they "improve" our system one more time i won't be able to use not at all). I welcome technological growth, but make it work. (Not to worry, i'll use T.T. next year most likely.) Your tech/tax support were very helpful, do not fire them, an Atta Boy/Girl would be better.
What's great about it: used T. T. many years now, like the step by step walk thru and ease of e-file
What's not so great: problems calculation hangup.

Had to pay but less painful then expected

like you can electronic file and not pay till 4/18.
