This year's Turbotax still has bugs in it

The program brought forward from the prior year's return the wrong amount of the state refund while assuring me the number was correct, and it froze up several times while "calculating," causing me to have to exit the program in order to get past the freeze-up. I am a long time user of Turbotax and I have been pleased with every year that I can remember; but this year's program was not quite ready for release.

What's great about it: Update info from Last Year Seemlessly
What's not so great: Price...what was in deluxe is now in premier
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

minor issues

1. Il assembly instructions missing attachment IL1040-V for voucher needs to be attached.
2. 1099-G check box to receive mailed copy next year - had to fill in manually.
3. after updates on initial entry installed, the continue using turbo tax button does not re-start turbo tax; it exists and does not restart.

What's great about it: still does the heavy lifting for taxes

Mixed Feelings

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and really do like the product. Disappointed they only offer stock information on the Premier and higher and that you have to buy the physical software to be able to get to the forms while filling out the information. If reporting income with states having a reciprocity with each other, the software did not account for state taxes appropriately. Had to revert back to paper version to do the state. Federal taxes were pretty straight forward.
I plan on using the software in the future and hope they will adjust the software to be able to allow for linking back from the final forms to the questions that generated those results.
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions straight forward for the typical person
What's not so great: If you opened the forms, there was no link to go back to the questions that helped generate those results

Unable to print a Schedule A listing deductions regardless of whether the taxpayer can file an itemized return.

Foreign Tax Not Clear

I've use Turbo Tax for over 10 years and have always been satisfied
What's great about it: Easy to load past inforamtion and data
What's not so great: Foreign Mutual Funds tax entry isn't very clear
Pros: I bought or sold investments
