You can do it!

I've been using this product for over 15 years and it keeps on getting better and easier each year. The guided question and answer method is quick and thorough, even for more complex returns. The financial institution download saves an immense workload of hand typing. Who knows your taxes and situations better than yourself? This product gives you the control and assurance that you've done your taxes right and taken the most credits that are legally allowed.
What's great about it: Detailed instructions, even for more complex returns

I encountered difficulty again e file was smooth but, I was not able to print, before print there is a menu to choose 1. save pdf.

I chose print & review, after reviewing, can't print until now. No button for print, From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. still can't print.

Best tax software ever!

I love this tax program. I file my return, my kids, and my parents, all with great ease. My parents have some unusual retirement statements, but TurboTax led me through everything with ease. I would highly recommend this product to anyone filing a return at home.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and instructions were very helpful.
What's not so great: None

Nicely Detailed

I've used TurboTax Premier for years, as it's helpful when it comes to stock, bonds, and options gains/losses. This past year, I lost my job, was unemployed for a time, got a new job in another state, and had a job relocation benefit. Though it took awhile to get through, TurboTax guided me very well.
What's great about it: Systematically asks the questions for accurate returns
What's not so great: Need to allow upload of Form K-1 .txf files
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

I have used TurboTax in the past and find it to be a very useful tool for doing the taxes. The step-by-step input has improved over the years. The ability to view forms is very important to be able to see the details and TurboTax allows the user to move quickly between the two entry methods. It is great knowing that TurboTax has done the calculations and stands by them.
On the con side, for my state form TurboTax assumed my W2 taxes were evenly distributed throughout the year. Normally this is the case, but I only worked for part of the year. I had to manually override the information in order to avoid paying penalties. It would be nice to either warn the user of these penalties or allow a more user-friendly way of entering the information.
All-in-all the program runs very well and provides a great way to enter and submit taxes for both Federal and State.
What's great about it: Summary of Federal and State payment/refund during data entry and ability to view forms
What's not so great: Assumed that my W2 tax payments were evenly distributed throughout the year.
