The best thing since sliced bread. They ask the question, you fill in the answers, they fill out the forms, you decide to e-file or mail. DONE
What's great about it: It does all the work for you

I've used Turbo Tax for 7 straight years.... this is the first time I have had any type of a problem. But it is a serious one. I had to take my return file to a Windows 7 Pro computer in order to print it.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Can't print because it will not create PDF in Windows 10
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall it is an easy to follow program which covers all the bases. Happy to be using it for the 5th time or so.
What's great about it: East to follow
What's not so great: some deductions did not apply to my state (useless)

The best program going, anticipating most questions. One improvement: Advising the taxpayer what data/documents the IRS needs for e-filing, so all data may be collected before seeking pin numbers. The internet assignment of pin numbers no longer works.

it should be easier to determine if a retirement plan is a qualified plan or not. there should be a section on the 1099 that states whether or not it is a Qualified Plan or not, and if it is, how much received was required. as it is now, that requires a little research. the plan has that info and it all should be on the 1099.
What's great about it: flows very well
What's not so great: difficulty distinguishing expenses that go on a 2106 or schedule c

I sold my home of 36 years in 2015. TT did a very good job in helping me navigate this complex transaction and the resulting capital gains.
In general, I think TT was much improved this year.
