Excellent Filing Experience

I contacted Turbo Tax with a question, left a call back number and the agent responded within an hour or so. He provided excellent guidance, was professional and did not rush through. He gave his undivided attention and was most helpful. I will definitely continue to use turbo tax in future years.
What's great about it: Guidance throughout tax filing process
What's not so great: Not one thing do I consider "Cons"

at the FINAL step as it was preparing to e-file theTurboTax insisted on a STATE abbreviation. I live overseas. Box 15 on my W-2 is BLANK and the Nairobi (Kenya) "ZIP" code of 00100 is not accepted. so i had to use a Georgia abbreviation and ZIP, though i live overseas.
What's great about it: Great - as usual! Really.
What's not so great: inflexible

What's great about it: This year's format seemed to make it easier to enter employment comp like stock options, RSUs, etc. than in past years

Forced me to fill in Car use for business even when I didn't use car in business... unable to find out why after considerable time spent researching...Need someone, other than other turbo users to talk to when stuck like this...
What's great about it: Step by Step questions are helpful
What's not so great: Required worksheets for Business use of car when I didn't have business use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good instructions and guidance as I went through the process. I rolled my 401 K and wife's IRA so had many questions on how to file and Turbo really helped me out with this one time event (in life) entry.
What's great about it: Easy access and guide
What's not so great: Troube accessing my Turbo account & creating a new one
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I spent one full day before giving up. had to start over with a new account. Lost all 15 years of previous data. last year it was worse. all for the sake of security.
What's great about it: was a little eaiser than last year
What's not so great: could not get back to my acount from last year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
