Taxes again !

I have been using TurboTax for many years and I am quite satisfied with it.
What's great about it: I am satisfied with the relative ease I was able to get my tax form finished and sent.
What's not so great: I don't have any trouble to report. I did have a lot of trouble trying to sign into the "Audit Defense"

Would like to see the step by step screen go to the point you entered the step by step section (ie when you finish with the interest data entry it takes you back to the point on the list of sections screen where you entered the section).

Maxed My Refund

Easy to install and use for this senior citizen. TurboTax asks the right questions to capture all the correct information on income and all the deductions you are entitled. While not all will apply, I do appreciate the opportunity to review every single item for Federal and State returns.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Some confusion on where a 1099-MISC is shown on Form 1040

program crashes

the program will occasionally keep "calculating" to the extent that it must be closed for several hours and then be re-launched.

2015 Tax Completion

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. This year version continued to freeze up on me. Which caused me to save numerous times ( like the old days). Easy to follow the guide, but this one has a BUG !!!
What's great about it: Easy to Enter
What's not so great: Continually froze up & had to exit and recover. This is a new computer

TurboTax is generally easy to use except for faulty 1099 data as may be received from investment companies. It is not only difficult to understand what is wrong, but also difficult to understand how best to make a correction.
What's great about it: Downloads from brokerages directly into TurboTax
What's not so great: Investment data error correction

Great Detail Work

I have been using TurboTax for many years and appreciate the way it helped with my transition from working to handling retirement issues such as IRA's. So far, all returns from TurboTax have been accepted without any problems.
What's great about it: Easy navigation and step by step aproach
What's not so great: Found the process for correcting a form error a little confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
