I would the program to compress each part of the section being worked on as it is completed. It saves time that way you do not have to scan to bottom of page to continue.
What's great about it: al assistance that is available at each click of program
What's not so great: would like the "next buttons" to be at the top page along w/the bottom of the pages.

premier edition contained all the forms I needed

I tried another tax program last year and I came back to turbo tax. It is by far the easiest program to use and has saved me money. Using the it's deductible fair value of items donated to charity showed me the true value which was more than I had anticipated. It also picked up deductions I had forgotten. I used the step by step even though I am familiar with doing my own taxes and it is very easy to go back and check any forms you had completed. Thank you turbo tax. I will not switch again.
What's great about it: step by step instructions were easy to follow.
What's not so great: Form K-1 gave me a little trouble.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Overall I was pleased with the work of gathering the data and using TT to compile my Fed and State returns. I have been using TT for several years. This was the most detailed version I have had to work on. The requirements of the IRS are daunting.
What's great about it: using premium to navigate the jungle of 1099's
What's not so great: my Mac kept freezing up unexpectedly

Super Easy!

Tried 2 other programs in the past and they just don't compare to the ease of Turbo Tax. Will never switch again. Would like the flexibility of working on my computer offline & then save online with Intuit's Turbo Tax. Don't like just the online feature either, as it uses up too much of my monthly data allowance from my carrier.
What's great about it: Walk thru the entire program so you don't miss a single deduction or credit.
What's not so great: Cannot download to Turbo Tax Internet when using a CD on your computer of the program.

the state tax filing electronically could be improved and not cost extra------this creates more work and delay to file, etc. Especially if you moved and maybe your account info is different, or account access is not available.
What's great about it: program is easy to use
What's not so great: state tax filing is cumbersome
