13 Years and counting

I've been using TurboTax for 13 years, on a relatively complex return that included a K-1 form and multiple stock transactions. The Premier version was wonderfully easy and handled the K-1 with no complaints. (K-1s are notoriously tricky, even for CPAs)
The first year was hard, you have to read carefully and figure out what the question is really asking. The next years were much easier.
I wish all brokerages had a universal format to report transactions.
I'll keep using TurboTax for as long as I pay taxes.
What's great about it: Each year it gets easier

Fast and accurate

Vastly improved this year. I've been using Turbo Tax for years and this edition is the most user friendly yet. Downloads from financial institutions reduces the amount of entries and ensures accuracy. I had to enter K-1s this year and found it easy.
What's great about it: download from financial institutions reduces data entry
What's not so great: can be difficult to do something out of the ordinary

my refund

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years, maybe over 10. This year I filed my KY state return on Feb 21. It was accepted. I kept waiting for my refund and finally called the state Gov. They told me that they had no evidence that I had paid any taxes and that I would have to fax my W2s and my 1099-R. This is the first time ever I have had to supply them with any paper documentation. I was told they had a new process in KY.

There must be a better way for reviewing or revising. Manually going through all the levels of income or deductions to get to the desired one is a pain. There should be some sort of index which when selected would get you there directly.
What's great about it: Newest method of entry for stock sales
What's not so great: Print out of forms for estimated payments when using double sided printing

Good again this year, but I hit the Mac bug

I have been using TurboTax for more than 20 years. It has been a good program. This years version was pretty easy to get around in. However, I ran into the bug where the program would get hung up on the "calculating" box. At least I found out that you can save and force quit at that point and start near where you left off. The first time I got the bug was the IRA contribution calculator. I just didn't use it after that, but I got stuck in the PA state return on sched UE too.
What's great about it: Got my tax returns done and it was easier to get around this year.
What's not so great: I had the MAC "calculating" bug several times.

Quck and Easy

Once again the premier version worked well for me. I had used TT before so all the data from last year was there, and doing my taxes took less time this year than every before, even though I have rental property, and investments.
What's great about it: All previous year data transferred, all calculations made for me, easy and quick
What's not so great: No cons
