Maybe you need to change the name

I've had turbocharged vehicles and have experienced "turbo lag" as the turbo spools up. TurboTax has no lag, it's just fast, fast. Kind of like nitromethane. NitroTax! Yeah, it doesn't flow like TurboTax. I guess keep the old name: TurboTax. Did I mention that it's fast?
What's great about it: Quick, Easy and Fast
What's not so great: None Known

Easy Peasy Once Again!

Great software, was easy to navigate, imported last year's data flawlessly. I never had a what-do-i-do-with-this-number moment, or a what-does-that-question-mean come up. Good job. I'd rather see an all-in price up front though. I don't mind paying piece-meal but this year I felt deceived paying for the software, then the audit help, and then state efile without understanding that clearly upfront.
What's great about it: easy navigation, thorough breakdown of deductions and credits
What's not so great: multiple charges ($software+ $ audit help+ $state efile)

I have used Turbo Tax for years. It is very easy to use and I really zoom through the process even when there is something new that I have to deal with. My single biggest complaint is there is not easy button for I want to file by MAIL and let me hit that and then print the right stuff. Especially for the state return.
What's great about it: It is fast, straight forward and self explanatory. Good process
What's not so great: Always the same CON: I don't want to pay to file my state return & it is convoluted to do a paper filing

I wish Turbo Tax would create a program that offers to file state tax e-file for FREE like the federal!!!

Okay but getting way too pricey

I have been using TT for over nine years, but I will have to begin looking for an alternative. With some of the changes made in the product last year that bumped me up to the "premier" version, it has become a very pricey venture. I can go to my CPA and get the same service for the same price.
Love the product, but very disappointed.
What's great about it: Good workflow.
What's not so great: $$$
