Very Productive Software

I like how the software transfers information from last year's return, saving me time manually inputting information. It's still easy to use and now it seems more secure with the extra questions which validate one's ID. I truly appreciate this!
What's great about it: Thorough and easy to use
What's not so great: Still takes a substantial amount of time to complete

Couldn't be simpler.

I was somewhat apprehensive about doing my own taxes this year having just gone through a divorce. Because my ex spouse insisted we use a CPA for 2014, I was worried that trying to do my 2015 taxes using Turbo tax would be impossible. As is worked out, I needn't have worried. The step by step instructions made it very easy and I was able to enter the 2014 tax information straight off the tax return given to me by the CPA. When I finished, I couldn't believe how easy it had been.
What's great about it: Step by step guidance helps to avoid mistakes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax - Easy Fast Accurate

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years to prepare and file my income taxes. Always satisfied.
What's great about it: Very intuitive and easy to use

Fuzzy on the details

We moved this year and decided to rent our home. Some of the questions around rental income and expenses did not clarify whether I should prorate the entries or if the program would.
Some unexpected expenses at the end did not explain their purpose well. Fees tacked on to the end after purchase and miscellaneous expenses incurred throughout filing. Being more upfront about the upcoming expenses would have made me more satisfied.
What's great about it: Easy and straightforward
What's not so great: Not enough clarity for confusing entires

Very good overall

Overall a really great product. Saves time and lives. Have been using for so many years and will continue to do so. My only complaint is the AMT filing part is not as good as the rest: it asks lots of technical jargon questions but there are no help buttons and sometimes forces you to delve into the details of the forms which is confusing.
What's great about it: Easy, fast, efficient, walks you through everything
What's not so great: AMT part needs help

Overall helpful, but expensive. They make you get Premier if you do ANY trading. Didn't have to previously.
What's great about it: guided through easily
What's not so great: Some wording confusing. Would not let me pay for state filing fee! Had to call to get help.
