When I went to efile, the screens that asked for credit etc switched to a very small input box and I had to use the magnifier to assure that my input was correct. There seems to be a problem in the software as all other screen were normal size. Very disconcerting.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and cannot think of filing without it. Easy to follow and mostly complete in the the Q&A format.

2015 Returns

Throughout the return process I experienced several times the program freezing up thus requiring a restart. Very annoying. Also I had to initiate a totally new return when it was determined I had to submit a second state return. Having to fill in again without a cut and paste was very cumbersome. Although TurboTax is been my product of choice the expense of the software and processing seems to increase at an unusually high rate with required upgrades to products. This is annoying.
What's great about it: Integrated with State Returns
What's not so great: Tendency to freeze requiring restarts
Pros: I bought or sold investments

It is hard to find the source of figures and then make adjustments so the return is correct. I had 9,000 too muchi n Med. in Schedule A and it took me 2 hours to get it corrected.
I have everything on a spreadsheet.
I would rather just enter the figures and then go to your details if needed.

Have depended on Turbo Tax for doing returns since the software became available on the market (early 1990's ?). It is indispensable to me, especially because it saves on time and analysis. I especially appreciate last year's information being carried forward each time.
What's great about it: Letting software handle the complex calculations
What's not so great: More worksheets/source sheets required for state (VA) when clicking on a particular figure on Form 760.

I was able to look up things I didn't understand and find the answer on the internet. It was very easy to use!
