Trouble saving my tax data

I have an Apple Computer and have had problems the last two years saving my tax return to my own file. I have tried using the directions given to do this but they don't work. I am getting more frustrated with the fact that the program tells you to "save" a copy by printing the forms out. This is ridiculous in the computer age when people are saving data to files, not printing the data out. This didn't use to be so complicated. Why can't they make it simple? Let me save to a file or print or both? Why do the Turbotax people not fix this abomination?
I like being able to download my data from my broker. This made life easy for the preparation of my 8949 form, which was quite complicated. The program did it all and I had nothing that I had to enter by hand.
What's great about it: I like the fact that you can have the program walk you through the various steps
What's not so great: I don't like the fact that I have problems trying to save my data to my own personal file

I have been using turbo tax for the last 10 plus years. Every year there showed vast improvements as described above.
What's great about it: Improving every year-Ease of installation- understandable instructions

It gets better every year! It stays simple but will expand for the most educated tax payer.

Excellent software, as usual

I have used the physical (CD) software for TurboTax for many years now, and I don't have any plans to change in the future. For me, it's just the best. I used a professional preparer one year and he made a big error requiring an amended return to be sent! With TurboTax I've never had any problems.
What's great about it: Very easy to use; very intuitive; very thorough
What's not so great: State filing fee is too high; one area for information was absent, but not that important

I utilized the TurboTax Premier this year, each of steps where easy to follow. When I had a question or needed a clarification the information provided helped me understand the information clearly.

I had a total of 89 pages,,,,, Just to many pages, should consolidate information for shorter number of pages.
