poor instructions

My electronic filing was rejected by feds,your solution did not work . Tried to get mailing address for printed return . Could not get it. Instruction sheet for e-file kept coming up. Your state instructions assumed to much! If I knew all those answers I would not need turbo tax.
What's not so great: electronic filing rejected by feds. Solution did not work. State instructions very incomlete.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

i have used Turbo Tax for several years.I like the convenience of not having to lug all my info to a CPA each year. i can have a glass of water, take off my shoes and somewhat relax I do occasionally substitute wine for water, If its a particularly rough year.
What's great about it: all the information is transferred over each year. Quite a time saver.
What's not so great: i cant always find the form i need on the first try

All in all, the program is easy to use. I dislike having to pay extra for Premier for less than $1000 in stock sales but can't calculate it otherwise.
What's great about it: Mostly easy
What's not so great: Calculating stock sale a pain

Had to try harder this year!

Never had a download problem before. Called customer service for a disc and then had problems installing the disc. Another call to customer service worked it out after about 45 minutes of trying. Once installed the program worked find and gave me the same excellent service I've been used to for the last ten or so years.
What's great about it: Been using TurboTax for over ten years. Find it to be easy to use. This year was no exception once I got it loaded.
What's not so great: Had a problem this year with the download.

I was very impressed as usual. It walks me though everything step by step. It was very easy to understand. It didn't take as long as I thought it would. I received a very nice refund.

Great Product

Love TT and use it annually. Had to use another product for a family member's tax return and I missed TT. However you used to be able to plan for next year's taxes and I have some one time questions I was looking for help on.
What's great about it: Step by step helps even most difficult return

This was the poorest functioning Turbotax I can remember - downloading to my hard drive something accidentally didn't have any easy fix and quadrupled the amount of time spent on taxes.
Also - foreign tax sources were multiple and I couldn't go past first country and it locked up even though I still had dividends from 4 other courtries !
What's great about it: Thorough
What's not so great: Couldn't disconnect downloaded state tax (wrong state)
