Overall a great program. I will probably use it again. I have used it for a good number of years.
What's great about it: Great directions!
What's not so great: Hard to find the file with the tax information.

Familiar & Easy To Use This Year

Several times in years past, TurboTax had a different appearance and feel compared to the previous year. The 2015 version was so similar to 2014 that there was little, if any, learning curve. The familiarity was appreciated.
What's great about it: Pleased to see a similar appearance as last year.
What's not so great: Didn't have any this year.

Another easy tax year

Have been using Turbo Tax for 18 years. The program has never caused any audit or problem with the IRS. I like the step by step instructions, it makes doing the taxes easier and more understandable.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step instructions
What's not so great: The time I have to spend every year doing my taxes

Too many crashes

I have used Turbo Tax for years. This is the first year it has continually locked up. I would click on "continue" and it would "calculate" endlessly until I closed it out.
When I printed my final return there was a partnership return included for a company that I had no information or ownership in.
What's great about it: Easy to go through all segments of the return
What's not so great: Crashed many times. Had to close and reopen

TAX PENALLY

IN THE 2008 FEDERAL NEW HOME REPAYMENT TT CALCULATED A TAX PENALTY ON THE AMOUNT BEING REPAYED. THERE WAS NO TAX ON INCOME AND NO TAX PAID IN TO IRS SO IT TAKES IT AS A UNDERPAYMENT AND ADDED A PENALTY IT WAS ONLY $6 SO I LET IT GO BECAUSE I COULD NOT CHANGE THE AMOUNT

What's not so great: CALCULATED TAX WAS INCORRECT

You would have to bring the same information to a tax preparer or accountant at much greater cost. Completely eliminates arithmetic errors.
What's great about it: Like the interview process
What's not so great: still takes too long to do

Turbo Tax is getting expensive.
What's great about it: comprehensive
What's not so great: deluxe version does not contain investment transfer as it did 2 years ago
