Improved over 2014!

Program needs to include 'source' for computed numbers as in previous versions. This is a valuable feature for more complicated returns.

What's great about it: Forms are more seamless than last year; also overall layout improved

K-1 problems

Very frustrated that I could find no way to clear the screens that told me I had to enter a MLP ID and name. Repeatedly I filled in the entry that I did not have any K-1's (I did the year before) but the program would not move forward with me entering one. I ended up putting in an MLP id and name with no data and submitted.
What's great about it: nice to be able to file electronically
What's not so great: I had no K-1's but program insisted I enter a partnership name and ID no.

2015 Premier Program

I have tried a dozen times to exile my returns and keep getting rejected due to an incorrect IP PIN submitted.
The IP PIN is 6 characters and it will only take 5 characters therefore I have to mail my return to the IRS and State.
What a waste of my money
Will never purchase again!
What's not so great: Your program does not have enough spaces to input my IP PIN

I wanted a k1 and you couldn't give it to me. I had to enter"K-1". You asked for a couple of bits of info that weren't on the K1. I had to guess. Why can't you accept the input and not be the attack dog for the IRS? If the K1 isn't right, let the IRS go after the issuer rather than waste my time? Your client is the taxpayer who pays you, not the bleeping IRS.
I also had to spend a huge amount of time entering a MD state income tax refund. Why you couldn't give me just enter the box from the MD 10099G? I am the customer not the IRS. You are saving them a huge amount of money and I have to do all the work. I'm tempted to file my return by paper next time and them data enter it.
What's great about it: Accurate, quick
What's not so great: Unyielding on entry of info.

Easy Tax Preparation

I have used Turbo Tax since it first came on the market, It really takes the stress out of tax filing.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: If e-file Rejected don't get the filing back.
