Wonderful!

This was no where near as complicated as I thought it would be. We have a lot of investment info but it walked us right through it! We saved a lot of money using Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: User friendly! Much cheaper than H&R Block
What's not so great: Took a long time to put in detailed donations
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

We've used TurboTax for several years. This was the hardest year to use this program. While it asked simple questions, there was not the option for getting our 2014 return to run along with this one for comparison. Also, it was hard to figure out how to determine placement for some of our entries. Guess we did it right--at least we're paying tax on all our income, but, not sure we put entries in the right category.
What's not so great: not as easy as past TurboTax

Very Easy Every Year

I use TurboTax every year and it is very easy to following.
They have created and maintained a Logical Layout and easy to follow steps.
I use the guide when I first create my return. Then it is easy for me to go to the section which I need to update; once I have the final 1099s.. etc.
This year I even download the 1099D directly from my Brokers site, which saved a lot of time.

Turbo Tax Worked Well This Year

After last years fiasco with Turbo Tax on our Stocks, everything worked well this year. We did upgrade to Premier this year because we found the hard way last year that their saying about everything being the same was not true. Even their pledge to upgrade us for free to Premier from Deluxe last year was not true.
we have used Turbo Tax for many years and plan to use it again in the future.
What's great about it: Fast and Easy
What's not so great: Getting charged extra money to electronically file our PA State Tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes made as simple as they can be.

I have been a long time Turbo Tax user and the process is very easy with a lot of great explanations and help tips. By using this process it has made me a better record keeper and Quicken the companion product becomes much more useful.
What's great about it: Great explinations and help just a click away
What's not so great: I can not think of any that merit talking about.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

holiday gift

get a holiday gift from residence at work. turns 1099-misc. it into a business and treats as self employed. Makes for alot of paper work
What's great about it: all seems to work except one area
What's not so great: turned a holiday gift into to much work and paper
