Was great, now not as good

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 10 plus years. Always with no issues. This year had an additional income from some work milage that I had to report, could not find out where to put it.
Also I paid for one state return and was charged for that state.

What's great about it: Calqulations are great
What's not so great: Could not do certain things

What's not so great: Had extraordinary income in 2015, not expected in 2016. Saw no place to adjust the 2016 estimated tax.

worked ok, similar to past years
Failed to install on my old-reliable Win 7 desktop where I've done taxes the past few years. Had to install on my lap top
Seemed to install a couple of random schedules that were not necessary, so problems at final review, as there were no entries on the schedules. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to delete the incorrect schedules
What's great about it: similar interface to past
What's not so great: hard to install. Could not install on computer I've used last four years so had to do on laptop.

Excellent Mechanics, User Interface Could Improve

Overall TurboTax Premier is a good product that I will both use again while recommending to my family and friends. The interview model is an effective way to move me through the program and tax preparation process. I often used the help feature and in every case the question was answered. My one criticism is when one completes a sub-area, the screen defaults to the top of the main section page. For many sections, this requires one to scroll many times down the same page to get to the next topic area. I strongly recommend the program be updated to move the screen to the bottom of each page.
What's great about it: Completed my fairly complex taxes easily and correctly
What's not so great: Requires and excessive amount of moving around the screen.

Got through it

When I was finished it started pointing out so called errors without telling me where to find them to make corrections. I finally had to to start over and go through the whole process again. Most of it had to do with a truck that I used in 2014 but not in 2015. I had already deleted that truck everyplace I used it.
Another minor problem is this; If I enter the the information on the truck in one place it seems to me that quicken should pick up on that basic information when it is listed again.
Another real pain was that when I finished my medical deductions it started calculating and calculating and would not stop until I quit and restarted the program. This happened three or four times
I have used Turbo Tax with great satisfaction for many years It appears that they have "improved to so much" that is is a real pain to use.
What's great about it: It finally did all right I think
What's not so great: More awkward to use than in the past

Experience was less than I expected with TT

I was disappointed with Turbo Tax this year ... couldn't access the forms.
What's great about it: 2014 info imported fine
What's not so great: Couldn't make the changes I needed to as TT walked me through 2015
