Straightforward and simple

I've used TurboTax products for years, and have helped dozens of other people do their taxes with TurboTax who used to pay exorbitant fees to CPA's.
My own return is quite complicated--lots of investments, depreciation, capital gains/losses, etc.--but it's a breeze entering in TurboTax, and in in 20 years I've never been called for an audit.
While nobody likes paying taxes, I love using TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to use, with more detailed information only a click away

You have demistified Taxes

We have used Turbo tax for over 15 years. We love it and its really great when you can roll your last years return into the new year. Great time saver and keeper of loss carryforwards.
What's great about it: Excellent for all skill levels, great check and review features
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Another succesful year

I've used TT for 20 years or more and have been able to complete my taxes simply and file returns quickly with easy acceptance by the IRS and quick deposits to my checking of refunds. I don't have the most complex return nor do I have the simplest and I am fairly well versed in doing taxes - have been doing mine and other peoples for over 40 years. For the majority of folks, TT is an easy tool to use and very straightforward.
What's great about it: Easy, well guided, no math involved ;-)
What's not so great: Couple of areas where I can make errors that should have a check/balance to prevent me from doing so.

OK but not really up to IRS

the only issue I have is that this program is not geared for or written for people like myself who care for adult relatives who are vulnerable adults. So I end up calling the IRS.... well you can imagine how much time I don't save doing that.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: not really configured for having adults who you care for

Great software

This is the first year that I have purchased and used Turbo Tax to file my return. It is great. The only thing that I believe could use improvement is the sales of property at a loss. I was confused for a while going thru the steps and not finding the section to load 1099 S information. I was worried that I did not have the correct version of Turbo Tax to file my return. At the very end, it does ask if there are any other forms you need to add. Once i got to that point i was able to progress through the section and complete the return.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Not enough detailed explaination on sales of business property
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easiest program to use

I enjoy doing my taxes with Turbo Tax. It made the process very easy and somewhat enjoyable.
What's great about it: Easy to understand, quick entry, guided through entire process
What's not so great: none
