Glad It's Over For Another Year!

Relatively easy to follow the directions. Especially like importing information and since I've used Turbo Tax for several years, they already have much of my information filled in for me. Nice to have the comparison from last year and previous years. E-filing pin information was confusing. They wanted a new pin for identification, went through the IRS question information and was repeatedly told I was not using the correct information from my 2014 1040! Used the AGI instead. Then wasn't sure if I needed a new pin for the signature or use the one already there from last year. Found the answer in the 'help' section. Not happy that the state filing fee was not included in the price of the Premier edition!
What's great about it: Importing information from accounts saves time and frustration.
What's not so great: Not happy that state filing fee is not included in the Premier edition of this program.

Great Tool!

Peace of mind that I won't get audited, because all aspects of tax laws are being covered if you are in good faith filing your own taxes.
What's great about it: More accessibility in linking forms and statements
What's not so great: Safety from being hacked
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Saving me money

When printing, allow client to pick state or fed, then click on what forms to print, rather than Turbo Tax choose. Or at least when you list the form to be printed, allow user to delete forms they don't want, it eliminates wasting paper/ink.
Also you survey doesn;t allow for age. i am a student, emeritus, but also retired. i don't have kids in the home, but i have kids and grandkids... so you need to fix the questionairre
What's great about it: Pretty easy to get through
What's not so great: limited options on printing forms

Better this time

What's great about it: This time it transferred all of my IRA data; in past years I have had to re-enter company names, addresses, and #s
What's not so great: I had trouble downloading update on one occasion -- took forever, and I could not skip that step. Annoying.

Quick and efficient

Turbo Tax makes my filing much more easy than if I had to complete paper forms out. I particularly enjoy the little snippets of information included in the software that helps to explain what the software is asking for. I also like the "check" at the end to help catch any errors. Filing with e-file was quick and easy. Thank you Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to understand and complete the forms. Didn't take me too long at all!

A few more hints as to what can be deducted would be helpful with the state return. I know there are more things that are deductible on the Az return than the federal but they weren't easily recognizable.
What's great about it: Quick and easy to prepare taxes
What's not so great: When reviewing sometimes I was unsure what the item I was to correct was.

Getting expensive

This upward trend in costs is irritating me. Will do a deep comparison next year. Turbo Tax is aggravating me.
What's great about it: Works okay
What's not so great: Price rising = have to buy higher version to do what used to be handled by Deluxe + State filing charge + processing =

Turbo Easy

Collect your records and follow the prompts and get started - very helpful with itemizing deductions and setting donation values. Also helpful working with buying and selling investments - some accounts can directly download tax information to TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to understand interface
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments
