I was a preparer for many years and am very confideent withthis program.
What's great about it: transferrring data from broker is very helpful
What's not so great: don't see any

Good overall. Easy to use IF you have all the forms and information readily available. Makes preparation and filing easy.
What's great about it: Ease of entering stock sales
What's not so great: K-1 form prep was somewhat confusing

I had a 1099$ for regular payments from a pension plan. The box that said ""can't determine if it's taxable," as stated in your instructions. When I got to the ending page, it said we would be taxed 50% of RMD - this was NOT an RMD! After waiting for approximately 2 hours, after your form saying it would be 30 minutes, I went back and changed it to "taxable," so I could finish the return. The way your program is worded is confusing - a pension plan is usually (to my understanding) monthly payments. Perhaps a change should be made to the wording to avoid confusion.
What's great about it: Quick and mostly easy
What's not so great: Ambiguity in 1099R

no louisiana estimated tax vouchers

You would have gotten a 5 star rating if I could have printed vouchers.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Can go back several times. Have been using TURBOTAX for several years.
What's not so great: Can not print estimated tax vouchers for Louisiana this year!

Long time user - still not great

1. Tried to use the free software from my bank this year. Because I bought the program on a disk last year the internet software could not find last year's taxes. Annoying.
2. Decided to answer a question as proposed at the end. Clicked on a question to answer, but there was no pace to do so. Please...
What's great about it: In the long run, accurate
What's not so great: 90% user friendy 10% No

Another great year!

Once again Intuit has come through for me! I got through my return in record time and was able to correct a couple of small errors that probably would have led to trouble down the road. This is the tenth year I've used Turbo Tax, and have no plans to change.
What's great about it: Easy to use, comprehensive, met all my needs
What's not so great: NONE!
