What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy to use and makes my annual tax preparation day much more palatable.

I don't know what I would do without turbotax
What's great about it: fast,easy,intuitive
What's not so great: sometimes it is difficult to make the connection with the questions and the underlying forms that are being filled out

I really love Turbo Tax but to my surprise this year my return was returned with a simple error. Request that Turbo Tax send me a coupon for a discounted tax version for year 2016
What's great about it: very east to use
What's not so great: my return was rejected for a very simple error

Always Reliable

This year I settled some credit card debt and received a 1099-C; turbo tax didn't give me the option to file a Form 982 with my 1099-C if applicable.
What's great about it: Fast, covers almost everything
What's not so great: 1099-C/Form 982

Loved My Taxes

I been using Turbo Tax since 2004 and find the program very intuitive and easy to follow. I would recomment this program to anyone who wants to prepare accurate income tax returns.
What's great about it: Program is precise and thorough and asks appropriate questions to facilitate the process.
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Military Issues and 1095's

When you are military you do not pay state income taxes. Turbo tax insists that we do whether our tax return even suggests we made money or NOT! This is getting old as we have business in multiple states. I get tired of the programs limited intelligence in insisting that we complete added forms when we will not owe anything anyway.
The 1095- same thing. If you do not need any information from the form why did I waste time waiting for it before I filed when all Turbo tax said when I went to enter my numbers. "We dont need any information from this form.
