2015 return

walking through the forms, steps, etc. was fine but when it came to using a credit card to pay efile and audit defense fees - that didn't work at all.
What's great about it: relative ease of use
What's not so great: payment of efile and audit defense fees flawed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I have filed my taxes before using turbo tax (about 4 years) and the installation, update and use was simple. This year I had
all kinds of problems installing errors, e-file not working.
Very disappointing this year and honestly I don't know if I will use Turbo again after this experience. Tax season is hard enough without adding more stress trying to file.

Taxes "R" Done

Great product. We've been using since 1999. I recommend it to all who are paying lots of money to have a Tax Preparer do it. At least try it once, and see how it stacks up with your tax man. You might decide TurboTax saves you money.

Saved money

This is the first time I tried to do my own taxes in many years. After my 'Tax professional" made a major mistake on our return, I decided it was time. I was skeptical, but read the reviews and everything seemed positive. Those reviewers were right. It's not a slam dunk and did require quite a bit of work as our taxes aren't just simple deductions. We own rental property and have investments to consider. Turbo tax handled the rental property and other investments, if not easily, but with clear instructions of how to do it. Indeed, I found a couple of things our "tax professional" missed in last year's return. Doing the return myself, I made sure nothing was missed (I hope). Will I do it again, Yes!
What's great about it: Lead me through the return step by step. Easy to understand.
What's not so great: Constant updates

2015 Turbo Tax review

I like Turbo tax system, it seems to work well for me. Getting the data from the outside sources and putting directly in was an issue and I decided to do it myself. I have problems seeming to get this right, so it works properly. Another area that would work better is the interaction of the SS system input and the general data. Being retired I would like it to be a little more compact.
What's great about it: Simple and fast to use. Really worked well
What's not so great: Had trouble downloading last 2014 data to enter. Some of the files did not seem to cross over

Outstanding Tax Software!

I was able to work my way through my 2015 tax preparation without any difficulty. I think the software has improved over the years and am most happy that I chose TurboTax once again! Consider me a very satisfied customer.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow steps!
