I have used TurboTax for many years without problems, but this year "2015 Premier" would not import my last years information from my "2014 Premier".
What's great about it: liked turbotax enought to purchase year after year
What's not so great: problems with importing last years information from turbotax 2014 Premier

Suggestion;
I inadvertently reported my interest and dividend income from my 1099, twice.I first elected to enter the two figures my self, then changed my mind when I realized that I could directly download those figures plus several securities sales, from my financial institution. I assumed (but should not have) that TT would catch the duplicate entries and the download would over ride the manual entries. Perhaps TT could watch for what appear to be exact same entries like that and warn of it in the final review section.

I have enjoyed using TurboTax for many years. It is a very easy way to figure your income tax. The questions asked are extremely helpful. It is almost fun doing taxes with TurboTax.
What's great about it: TurboTax is a simple and easy way to do tax returns.

Easy to navigate

Turbo Tax works very well. Recommended to my daughter for use to gather info for her CPA and get a general sense of tax or refund due to avoid a surprise. Can also be updated from final filed return to plan and monitor the next year's tax.
What's great about it: Like being able to go to specific forms during completion process.
What's not so great: Program doesn't restart automatically after updates have been made. Have to double click on the Icon to restart.

TurboTax 2015

TurboTax does most of the heavy lifting in completing my taxes each year. I like doing my taxes through TurboTax because it requires me to have an understanding of what is occurring in the process. When I took them to a tax service, I felt out of the loop until I was presented with the bill. TurboTax is more interactive in the process and in following the software, I am aware of what the forms are, what is acceptable, and I feel more informed about the process and what portion of my income is going to taxes and makes me aware in going forward what I can do to shelter my income from tax and use more of my income for altruistic purposes that I have some control over who my income benefits
What's great about it: TurboTax allows me to follow the process of completing my taxes, but does most to the heavy lifting.
What's not so great: My greatest negative was that when I paid my filing fee, it did not allow me to print my receipt nor review payments

Easy to complete

I really like the process to complete taxes.
What's great about it: The organization is great, and the ease of answering the questions is as easy as can be
What's not so great: costs more to add the state portion
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
