Not that hard to use

As a first-time user there is definitely a learning curve but not as complicated as I expected. After you figure out how everything works is not that complicated. I feel it will be much easier to use next year now that I have worked with it. One thing I did not like about it was when I hit the back button to review that I had entered it would require me to reenter that information. I eventually learned to review the information that you enter you go to the forms icon on the upper right corner of your screen and open that. You then can select the form you want to review an existing information remains unless you change it. So now that I figure all this out I'm quite happy with the program.
What's great about it: Steps you through the forms that you need to fill out
What's not so great: Can't hit the back button to review previous entries without reentering information again

Easy taxes

I have only used Turbo Tax to file my taxes from the time it was develop (many, many years) and I have never been disappointed. It is easy to use, accurate and I get my refund quickly. Filing taxes is never pleasant but Turbo Tax makes the tax season much less painful. I highly recommend this product. I would not use any other method.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, quick and accurate

Investor support is prohibitive and sloppy

So TurboTax's biggest flaw, from my perspective appears when handling a large volume of stock transactions. There are essentially three options one has: 1) enter each trade by hand, 2) import a TXF file, or 3) try to import directly from your broker. Three wasn't an option for me because my broker wasn't listed. Entering by hand would have been fine but a single trade requires going through 4-5 very slow screens answering questions about the trade. If this process were faster, it would be tolerable, but with 300 trades, I estimated it would take about 14 hours to enter each trade by hand. That leaves the TXF option.
With regard to the TXF option - the obvious question is why doesn't TurboTax just support importing from an excel spreadsheet with appropriate columns? As it is now, I have to convert the excel spreadsheet to a TXF file using another piece of software. Basically converting one very simple format into another. Unfortunately, once it was time to import the TXF file, Turbotax did not correctly handle TXF entry format 5 (the format that one uses for a wash sale). Turbotax did import the data, but didn't mark the trade as a wash sale.
At first, I thought this was a problem with the way the TXF file was generated, but after looking up the spec for TXF from Intuit it seems that I did have the entries correctly formatted. Turns out, apparently this is a well known problem from 2014. TO fix the issue I had to manually go through the error check in the last stage of tax preparation, fixing the transaction one entry at a time.
TurboTax - *at least* support TXF fully. It would be great if you provided an excel style import and even better have an interactive table inside the program where users could easily review each transaction in a table and make any adjustments necessary for each trade.
I've used TurboTax every year except 2013 since 2008. I have always liked the program but unless stock support is improved, its simply not feasible to use TurboTax in the future. I realize this is a feature used by a small percentage of your users, but it would be at least nice if the limited support you currently provide weren't buggy to start with.
What's great about it: Checks lots of different types of deductions, simplifies some paperwork
What's not so great: Support for stock trading in certain cases is completely prohibitive
