It does the job

I have been paying a CPA to do my taxes for years until he got more expensive and few errors crept in. I switched to Turbo Tax this year and it is fairly easy to use especially with straight forward taxes that we have. The most complicated tax requirements I have are the company stock participation programs. The only issue I have is with mapping particular forms back to the TurboTax interactive session. It simply doesn't exist. Since I have the CPA's tax forms from last year I would like to quiz the TurboTax to show me the interactive segments with a particular IRS form number.
What's great about it: It is well organized and contains all of the necessary interactive questions to get through the process
What's not so great: There isn't a way to map the forms back to the interactive questioning that the tool is providing

Trubo Tax Review

The program was easy to setup my taxes except for the California State estimated tax section in the program. I had to look into the document area to find the location to apply the estimated taxes. I could not find it the step by step part of the program. I would have gave five stars if the estimated taxes was easier to input......
What's great about it: Program was easy to navagate
What's not so great: Working on my California State Taxes I had a difficult time finding the area to apply my 2015 estimmated taxes.

Rocked the Refund World

Turbo tax is the tax preparation software for me. I used it for many, many years and I will not use any other. People are missing out if they are not using Turbo Tax.
Ease of use, easy to follow Q & A and great visuals. What else can you ask for?

I cannot get the continue to leave my return. I have completed the return and filed it. It was accepted but is now held up.

What's not so great: "Continue" won't disappear and I have done everything, return was accepted

Transmitting Files

HAD PROBLEMS TRANSMITTING FILES - GOT MIXED UP WHEN I WANTED TO TRANSMIT FED ONLY AND NOT THE STATE HAD TO CALL BUT FINALLY GOT IT DONE. I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE A SPOT TO CLICK - TRANSMIT FED OR DO NOT TRANSMIT FED AND THE SAME FOR STATE.

Ohio 2015 glitch, no direct deposit

I have used Turbo tax for many years & have been very satisfied in the past. This year, however, there are problems. Turbo tax performed well on the Federal but does not give me the option to enter direct deposit information on the Ohio state return that I will be mailing. This is very disappointing. First I had to wait until after Feb 19th for the Ohio form to be available. And now I will have an additional wait for a check since I cannot enter direct deposit information? If you are going to sell a product, please make sure it is functional.
What's great about it: easy step instructions, imports information
What's not so great: Ohio form delay & then no direct deposit for paper return
